YUWIE TIPS newbies & referrals must read
It's about time I posted one of these. I've spent so much time writing emails to new people with tips and trying to refer them to other people's blogs, so I'm setting up everything you need to know right here: (some good tips from another member posted with permission)
first of all, welcome to yuwie!
First, the site is still new and there are millions of people out there who will eventually sign up. YOU want those people to sign up under you (friends, relatives, and coworkers are the best people to start with). I'm assuming you followed a link I had posted somewhere else; well you can do the same. Many other people on this site have some great ideas on how to get referrals, so browse some other profiles and clubs and see what other tips you can find.
Second, you get paid based on page views, not only yours, but your referrals too. So you want to set up a great page, load pictures, post a blog, get lots of friends, etc. Very important- if you want to make any money off of this, do not set your profile to private!
Go to your settings on the right and change it to accept everyone on it- all this will help you get comments and get more people involved in your blogs. we cant comment if its set to friends only if we are not your friend yet.
Never deny anyone that wants to be your friend- the more friends, the more page views, the more you make. do this and I guarantee you your page views will go up!!!!
tips in my own words: I read lots of blogs, I keep learning more everyday. basically, you want people to see your profile - so the more clubs you join, the more friends you have, the more notices and blogs you post will get your profile viewed more. visit people's profiles - you also get paid for everything you view here- as long as the page view is more than 3 seconds, it will count. leave comments, send messages, rate people's profiles, join clubs that interest you and some of those clubs that help you gain more friends and give you referral tips, etc. accept all friend requests- don't be picky. you want as many friends as possible to make the most $.
Having active referrals will play a big part in how much $ you make too - so invite anyone you can think of, there are referral banners and tools in your control panel. Keep in touch with your referrals & make sure they know all the Yuwie tips too - and encourage them to refer people and do the same- keep in contact with them and always help them with whatever they need. you are earning more based on their activity, so please don't forget about them!
You should join some other outside programs to help you get more traffic and page views... I will be posting a blog with links to these types of programs. for example, a couple of them are:
GetRef for guaranteed free referrals
Traffic-Splash free program to get hits to your site
Traffic Swarm another free traffic exchange, this one seems to be more popular around here
MyFriendsBuilder I highly recommend this one, it has everything you need to maximize your income on this site in one program. I posted a blog specifically about this program.
Squidoo something different - this is a good place to promote ANYTHING. think wikipedia, you can post info about anything you know about - I'm using it to tell people about Yuwie, and other online money-making programs. I have so many ideas for this one. but for now, writing about Yuwie should help you get more referrals. did I mention you get paid for writing info on there too? I can't wait to find more time to write about more things, this site is a great idea!
YuwieAdds send tons of friend requests easily on one page, and the more people you add & refer, the more points you get- the more points you get gets you to the top of the list (more friend requests for you!)

so I suggest right now to browse around, read some informative blogs, the yuwie faq, view some profiles & send some friend requests. look at the clubs and join some that may interest you. visit your control panel often & see if you have new messages or friend requests - you can accept the new friends and send them some comments, whatever...
if there is anything else specifically, ask away. I gave you lots of info, and there is more out there, you'll be earning money while looking around reading it...
